At YMU, we seek therapists who share our passion for attachment-based and trauma-informed couple and individual therapy. To join us, we ask you to address the following criteria:
Qualifications in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology and experience in working with individuals, families and/or couples.
Active membership with a professional body, along with a Working with Vulnerable People check for your state, and active Professional Indemnity Insurance.
You need to have a professional Zoom environment with good quality lighting and background.
Completion of the EFCT Externship for Couples, EFIT Core Training, and a commitment to advanced training within 18 months and continual training in EFT and related therapies (eg EMDR, Schema, Gottman, Somatic Therapy and so forth).
Submit evidence of two days of specialist EFT training annually (e.g., EFIT, Attachment Injuries). We are looking for therapists with a thirst to improve and a desire to be the best they can be. There’s no room for complacency in our profession – our clients deserve the best.
Complete 8 individual supervision sessions annually with Director Janine Moran, and a total of 15 EFT supervision sessions per year, including YMU or other EFT Group Supervision.
Be available to attend monthly practice meetings and to contribute ideas and resources.
