He graduated from the University of NSW in 1992 and has extensive experience working in government, community, and hospital settings. His work includes supporting individuals, couples, and families facing mental health concerns and substance abuse challenges. Tony has also worked extensively with military members and their families, helping them navigate the challenges of trauma, postings, deployments, and transitioning from service.
Of special interest to Tony is assisting couples in achieving a more secure bond. He has completed advanced training in both Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy and the Gottman Method. With his warm personality and sense of humour, Tony helps couples understand their relationship challenges and move towards a sense of well-being.
In addition to his couple therapy training, Tony has a strong background in narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and acceptance and commitment-based therapy. He also has a deep understanding of treating mental health issues and the impact of trauma on couple and family relationships.
