Julia is a warm and compassionate accredited social worker with over 15 years of experience, supporting individuals and couples across a range of settings, including non-profit organisations and Employee Assistance Programs. She has worked with clients facing complex mental health challenges, addiction, suicide prevention, and family violence, always bringing deep care and understanding to her work.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Gender Studies, a Graduate Diploma in Community Counselling, and a Master’s in Social Work, Julia is highly trained in relationship-focused therapy. She has completed specialised training in Integrative Couples Therapy through Relationships Australia, as well as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method.
With a strong foundation in attachment-based therapy, Julia provides a safe, supportive space for clients to explore how early experiences shape their relationships. She helps couples recognise and step out of negative cycles, guiding them towards deeper emotional connection and healthier communication. Her work empowers clients to express their needs openly, creating relationships where both partners feel respected, supported, valued, and truly loved.
