Among the techniques designed to improve couples’ issues, research shows that Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples is highly effective. Originating in Canada, it is now an internationally respected modality.

In your first sessions, your therapist will meet with both of you together, then have an individual session with each of you. During these initial three sessions, they will assess your unique couple issues.
