With over 40 years’ experience in health and wellbeing, Nicola brings a decade of general nursing experience followed by 30 years as a clinical psychologist. She has worked in hospital and community settings, in child and adolescent services, inpatient and outpatient mental health, and with people affected by trauma, displacement and torture. She has spent the past 15 years in private practice, offering therapy to individuals, couples and families.
Nicola has trained in a wide range of approaches across individual, relationship and family therapy, and brings a lifelong passion for creativity, learning, and emotional wellbeing to her work. She is especially drawn to Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for its depth, humanity, and its powerful capacity to foster meaningful, lasting change. Nicola values EFT’s ability to gently support clients through even entrenched patterns, and to strengthen emotional bonds through skilful, supportive, and attuned therapy.
All sessions are 75 minutes and conducted in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment — either in person or online via Zoom.
